Rhythm in Business Writing (1/2)
Addressing the rhythm in Business Writing. It is extremely important in securing a smooth and controlled script.
"Rhythm" refers to where the emphasis is placed in strokes, by adding small 'pauses'. At normal speed, the pen will not typically come to a full stop as I do here. This is exaggerated. Generally you will slow to around 30% of normal speed.
(1.) Is demonstrating these pauses when the pen reaches the baseline.
(2.) Is when the pen reaches the x-height.
(3.) Is only when the pen reaches the baseline before the exit stroke.
I hope these videos will help people to conceptualize the types of rhythm in writing a business script. In no way is this exhaustive, showing every possibility.
